The 13th Helsinki Flamenco Festival – International Flamenco Feast
The Helsinki Flamenco Festival celebrates its 13th edition with the performances of two first-rate flamenco companies from Spain and a night of performances by Finnish flamenco aficionados. The young price-awarded dancer María Juncal presents her successfull production "Tercera Llamada" at the Savoy theatre with outstanding musicians and an other dancer. Raúl Mannola, a flamenco guitarist of finnish nationality living in Madrid, presents his brand new disc "Guitarra Adentro" and his great new band at the Savoy theatre. Flamenco enthusiasts´performance takes place at the Gloria Cultural Arena. Other festival events include courses for dancers, as well as the Children´s and Youth Flamenco Biennial at Malmitalo.

María Juncal: Tercera llamada
The main concert of the 12th Helsinki Flamenco Festival demonstrates strong, traditional flamenco.
The awarded star dancer María Juncal has collaborated with the legendary choreographer Ciro for her latest performance, and the music is by the flutist Juan Parrilla. Juncal’s style combines the sensitivity, strong interpretation and fiery energy of flamenco with excellent dance technique.
